The Big Hole River is flowing at 2,700 CFS right now, and the fishing is good. With the flows down, we can finally enjoy the float without fighting the fast current. But beware, the rocks are exposed now and can catch even an experienced oarsman off-guard, making it quite easy to broach a boat. As far as the fishing is concerned, Pat’s Stone Fly Nymphs sizes 10, 8, and 6 are working as well as the larger Princes and Lightning Bug Nymphs. Have a fun and safe weekend everyone! And don’t forget to swing by the store for the latest fishing reports and best patterns in town!
